From Monoculture to Vibrant Rainforest
We support local communities in restoring land to species-rich rainforests.

A Forest That Was No Longer a Forest
In many regions of Southeast Asia, once species-rich rainforests were replaced by fast-growing monocultures. The soils became depleted, erosion increased, and biodiversity collapsed. For many indigenous families, living conditions also worsened as a result.

So Much Impact Already in the Project
Numerous native seedlings are distributed
Indigenous communities are actively involved in forest restoration
Monitoring system for CO₂ and biodiversity is established
With education, tree nurseries, and digitalization
The project relies on strong partnerships: local cooperatives like HEPA supply seedlings, experts from the organization SPERI support training, and indigenous groups manage the land themselves. Digital CO₂ tools and GPS monitoring make progress measurable. NatureLife-International ensures knowledge transfer through our expert Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Göltenboth and financially supports the restoration of land.

NatureLife works with people. The projects combine ecology, economy, and social responsibility into sustainable solutions.
